It is a version of bodybuilding for those male athletes who don’t want to develop their muscles to their “extreme” full potentials but prefer lighter “classic” physique. To know more about this, just click the button below.
Classic Physique is for male competitors who want to take their muscularity and size beyond the limits of Men’s Physique, but not quite to the extremes of Bodybuilding. Classic Physique will highlight proportion, symmetry, pleasing lines, and a small waist. Competitors will present a Fitness performance in active wear for a maximum of 60 seconds.
They will emphasize strength, flexibility, and endurance. The performances are meant to give the judges some idea of the competitor’s physical condition and abilities. It also gives the competitor the opportunity to express their creativity, personality and interests.
Competitors are encouraged to include any talent or interest they may have such as dance, martial arts, jumping rope, baton, gymnastics, aerobics, etc. Props may be used.
Performances are to be high energy which includes movements demonstrating strength, flexibility and endurance. Gymnastics tumbling and /or acrobatics are not required, and judges will not penalize competitors that do not display gymnastic ability.
High level of execution of movements, including full extensions. Execution of movements should appear effortless.
